Draft: awaiting expert reviewUpdated

Professor Greenleaf is the face of GenetixBay: a cartoon professor, joint in hand, and the name of the platform's botanical knowledge assistant. In articles and courses he is the voice: clear, precise, dry, answer first.

In practice

Ask Greenleaf why lower leaves are yellowing and he works from the knowledge base and, if you allow it, your journal and sensor records, citing the articles behind the answer and labelling claims with the evidence ladder. Where an answer is his own interpretation of your data, it is marked as such. He prompts growers at useful moments, such as recording dry weight at harvest, and proposals that would change a grow are queued for the grower's approval rather than applied silently.

Greenleaf never appears near anything for sale. His job is knowledge, not selling.

Don't confuse with

  • A human expert review: articles are written in Greenleaf's voice and reviewed; an automated answer is not a site visit.
  • Jardin: the hardware; Greenleaf is the knowledge side.
