Meet Professor Greenleaf
He's seen everything. He'll still explain it twice. The story of the Bay's resident professor, and what he'll be doing in the new GenetixBay.
If you were around the Bay back in the day, you already know him. Heavy lids, cheeky grin, joint in hand, and somehow always right about your pH.
Professor Greenleaf has been GenetixBay's mascot since the early days. For the relaunch he's getting a promotion.
What he does now
In the new GenetixBay, Greenleaf is your guide through everything:
- He knows what you're looking at. Open a genetic record and ask about it, and he already knows which record you mean. Open your journal and he knows your last week of readings.
- He shows his sources. Every answer comes with where it came from: a lab report, a breeder's notes, or patterns across other growers' journals. When nobody knows, he says so.
- He keeps an eye on your grow. Connect a Jardin system and he watches the readings and photos, and suggests small fixes when something drifts. You decide whether to take them.
His rules
He's laid back, not careless. When he's joking around, he's joking around. When your reservoir is leaking at 3 a.m., the joint goes down and he gets straight to the point:
Leak sensor tripped. Pumps are off. Check under the reservoir now.
He'll never pretend a breeder's claim is a lab result, never guess when he doesn't know, and never give you legal or medical advice. He'll just tell you what the records say.
