Supercropping is a [high-stress training](https://genetixbay.com/knowledge/glossary/hst.md) method: the grower squeezes a green, flexible stem between thumb and [finger](https://genetixbay.com/knowledge/glossary/leaflet.md) and rolls it until the inner pith softens, then bends the branch to 90° without tearing the skin. Within a few days the site heals into a thick knuckle and the branch carries on growing from its new, lower position.

## In practice

Do it on soft, green stems in late veg or the first two weeks of flower, when the [stretch](https://genetixbay.com/knowledge/glossary/stretch.md) threatens to push [tops](https://genetixbay.com/knowledge/glossary/top-shelf.md) into the light. Pick a spot a few nodes below the tip, crush, bend, and support the branch if needed. If the skin splits, tape it; it almost always heals. Avoid woody stems, which snap clean rather than fold.

## Myth check

House position: stem snapping gives better buds, and the founder does it all the time. Label: Grower practice, house-endorsed.
