# Seed Club

The Seed Club is how GenetixBay members can get seed from vetted lines, including [Bay Lines](https://genetixbay.com/knowledge/glossary/bay-lines.md). GenetixBay's core company does not handle seed: the Seed Club is a licensed partner programme, sold by the partner, and it runs only where seed sales are lawful.

## In practice

Every Seed Club lot is tested, with [germination](https://genetixbay.com/knowledge/glossary/germination.md) and other results published on its [GB-ID](https://genetixbay.com/knowledge/glossary/gb-id.md) batch record, so members can see what they are getting before they grow it. Lines must meet the same standard as Bay Lines: a 10-plant screening grow with zero [herms](https://genetixbay.com/knowledge/glossary/hermaphrodite.md), and a pooled [herm rate](https://genetixbay.com/knowledge/glossary/herm-threshold.md) from community grows that stays at or under 2% (see [herm threshold](https://genetixbay.com/knowledge/glossary/herm-threshold.md)). Pearls are not a way to buy seed; seed is never a prize, reward or Pearl purchase.

Seed laws differ widely, including on shipping, gifting and whether seed counts as cannabis. Check local rules.
